Finishing
Should you have any questions or concerns about the healing process, do not hesitate to get in touch.
After your tattoo is complete, your artist will apply a second skin or plastic wrap. This acts as a protective barrier during the first phase of the healing process.
1 - Second skin
- Du får store væskeansamlinger under folien.

1 - Plastfolie
Remove the plastic wrap when you get home and clean the tattoo with a mild, perfume-free soap.
Cover the tattoo with plastic wrap before going to bed to avoid excess ink and blood on your bedding.
The next morning, you can remove the plastic wrap and clean the tattoo again, before applying a thin layer of a mild, perfume-free moisturizer.
Be sure to wear clean clothes and a towel over the area you have been tattooed.
Clean morning and evening for the next 3-5 days, until the tattoo starts to peel.
2
Over the next few days, you may notice that your tattoo starts to itch and peel. This is completely normal and is part of the skin's regeneration process.
Apply a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer to your tattoo about 3 times a day or as needed. Be sure to apply an even, thin layer - using too much cream can lead to poor healing.
It is important that you do not scratch, scrub, or pick at the tattoo.
3
After 3-4 weeks, your tattoo will be considered fully healed. You should avoid swimming, saunas and strong sun exposure until then. We recommend always using a high sun protection factor on your tattoo, so that the result lasts as long as possible.
Should you need a touch up after the tattoo has healed, please contact your artist.
We offer free touch-ups if needed within 3 months of getting your tattoo. This is with the exception of tattoos on fingers, hands and areas of wear and tear where a minimum fee will apply.
